Hanna GroChek EC Meter Provides continuous digital EC scale read-out. This scale is the international Electro Conductivity scale. No alarm light. The EC scale is not linear to Parts Per Million. The new PPM meters for horticulture are being built to the specs of .7 to 1 or 700 PPM to 1 EC. For those who use the Conductivity Factor (CF) scale 1 EC = 10 CF. CF was created to eliminate tenths of an EC. Example: 1.5 EC = 15 CF. EC is multiplied by 10 to reference CF.
